"Twice I went to the grocery store and they had expired food in the freezer. I told the guy in the front the first time to give them a heads up so others don’t buy and they have a chance to remove it. Months later I went back same exact thing. Expired food, dirty store dusted store like it’s the 80s, poorly organized. For the over priced Indian “curry” or any other south Asian grocery you better off driving a little further to Miramar or Powey and have better quality, clean and fresh Indian stuff. Coming from an Indian who knows the actual material unlike the reviews from folks who are not from that part of the world and get fooled by this poor representation, expired, stale stuff imported months and years ago. However the restaurant next door is pretty good. This review is only for the grocery store to be clear."

"Best Indian and Himalayan food in San Diego county. You are greeted by a humble waiting area that then opens up into a warm, cozy ambience. They have a great vegetarian section and they can make things extra spicy if that is your preference. The staff is always very pleasant."
