"Clean. Well stocked. Decent prices below other supermarkets. Good quality."
"AVOID SHOPPING HERE. STAY VERY FAR AWAY! And for that matter, I really recommend avoiding doing as much shopping as you possibly can in the entire city of Ghetto Grove. Here's what happened. I roll into the store, literally roll, as I am Handicapped, disabled in a wheelchair. I go straight to the beef jerky and cured meat section of the store, as that's all I usually get. Aldi's has good prices on beef jerky, and that's usually the only thing I get there...it is just an Aldi's, not a real supermarket, after all. So I search around just to see what kind of imported German chocolate bars they currently have in stock; just to have a look around, as I can't eat any of them as I am Prediabetic and have Diabetic Venous-Stasis Ulcers on my left shin. Well, after I cruise the isles, getting the lay of the land (I don't normally shop in this ghetto city, the city of Ghetto Grove) I head to the check out line to make my purchase. At first all seemed normal: I wait in line, make my purchase, but then just as I was reaching in my front pocket to get the money to pay, this one dumb punk Ghetto Grove kid working the check stand begins talking about me like I'm some kind of thief, not directly to me, mind you, but under his breath like he was talking to someone else. Well, the someone else with whom this one dumb punk kid employee had been conversing with right in front of me, but not directly to me with, revealed herself as she ushered me to the door (I can only assume she was either the Shift Manager or Store Manager) as she blurted out to me " Don't come back, we have you on camera, a police report has already been filed." Well, as a matter of fact, all they have on camera is one disabled guy in a wheelchair browsing the aisles, looking at the sugar in all the food products I used to be able to eat but can't any more because of the fact I am a Prediabetic with Diabetic Venous-Stasis Ulcers. They are being stupid. I seriously recommend avoiding this Aldi's as well as many other business in this ghetto city, go to the one in Westminster or La Habra instead. I don't get this from those better Aldi's locations. The management and employees at this location are all equally incompetent and paranoid about you, the paying customer, and make up sh!t about you ."
"Great prices, convenient location, and typically friendly staff. I always find some great stuff for cheap here, like a dozen eggs for .58¢ or prosciutto or other cured meats for $3. Produce is always cheaper here, but they won't have everything you need. Kale and spinach are cheap, but they don't carry basil or other herbs. Parking can be hectic, and remember to bring a quarter for the shopping carts and your own bags. Update: inflation is out of control and shortages abound, but they're still the go to for cheaper prices than the Ralphs and Albertsons out there. Second update: they added new shopping carts. There are two sizes, small to the left and regular to the right. Don't be dumb and put back yours in the wrong lane, you won't be able to get your quarter back or stack the carts. Seriously, it's been years: quarter in, quarter out. Get with it! Third update: new staff and new digital price tags. They're generally able to maintain things better and more efficiently now, so any chaos is strictly on the customer base. Things run smoothly on their part, but there's an increase in problematic customers yelling about prices or solicitors at the entrance, who may or may not enter the store. Please get it together and bring your own bags and get your own cart. Do better, people. Fourth update: new digital price tags theoretically should help with freeing up some of the staff, but the customers are pulling some Walmart behavior and making them work twice as hard with abandoned perishables. They're good at opening another lane when busy, but the customers really can't get it together."
