"For years I have been trying to find a job in my home state of California. The last time I applied, this store did not call me up for an interview. I applied at this store on February 24 2024. Effective immediately, I am working here since I hired myself. I WILL be working Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and this store will not fire me for it. "They had invited someone from the Epoch Times, a far-right newspaper run by the Chinese cult Falun Gong (of Shen Yun fame) to advertise in the store on 12/23/23. The paper (and cult) have promulgated the QAnon conspiracy and anti-vaccine misinformation, as well as false claims that the 2020 election was stolen. I don’t know if someone didn’t bother to look up the organization, or if they are sympathetic to its politics, but I don’t think I care to shop here anymore. The manager was dismissive when I inquired about whether the paper’s representative got permission to advertise at the corporate or the store level."

"I've been going to this Ralph's for years, and I have not run into a negative experience with this year. The store is clean on the inside. The parking lot is very spacious. They have a nice supply of clearance items next to the sushi department where I always look forward to seeing what's available. The shelves are always neatly well-stocked, so I rarely run into an issue of not finding what I need. On top of that, the staff have always been so helpful especially when I need help at self-checkout."

"I shop at this store quite often and i would say that the majority of employees are great people. I can’t say the same for their security. The sign on the door clearly shows STORE HOURS Every Day 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. It’s 12:55am and the security says we’re closed and wont let me in. I said it’s 12:55, I just need to get a giftcard. He looked at me and said we’re closed. They should change the sign to say closes 6am- 12:50am!"
