"Beeman park has a nice play area with swings, climbing equipment and a bridge that accesses the slide. The huge Eucalyptis trees provide ample shade and beautiful scenery to this Elk Grove community based senior center and adjacent recreation area. It is dog friendly and provides free clean up wraps for easy pick up. It is not too crowded and many times, I have been able to enjoy the entire park to let my dog run off leash without sharing the space with other park visitors. With the ever present eye of the neighborhood watch and 24/7 security cameras, I feel safe there, even after sunset."
