Reviews
"My boys are aged 10, 8 and 5 at the time we visited and this park satisfied all three boys. There are multiple playground areas to choose from with varying levels of difficulty depending on age. They made fast friends with people they didn't know and the park area is very beautiful with a lot of trees and shade and grass to sit in. They're also a lot benches to sit down if you're not into grass. Sitting. Bathrooms are within walking distance and we're decent enough for public park bathrooms. It's part of Balboa Park and you can almost never go wrong in Balboa Park. Definitely will be back with my kids soon."
"This is a huge park with only one picnic table. My son loved the playground (as he does all playgrounds). LOTS of picnic blanket space."
"Nice play structure, but do not count on the nearby public bathrooms here. Most were out of order and the others were disgustingly dirty. The grassy area on the other side of the bathrooms from the playground appears to be a favorite hangout for some of San Diego's unhoused, but no one bothered us when we were there."
"Beautiful park all around. The playground is not as big as the one on the east end of Balboa Park but enough structures and swings for small and bigger kids. Bathrooms close by, clean but seemed to be very busy."
"Nice variety of playground equipment- toddlers to big kids will find something to do here! Parking can be a challenge, but that's to be expected in that area."
