"This review is for Jake! Big thanks to him for making the experience so enjoyable. We talked almost the entire time and I felt very comfortable despite how nervous I felt getting tatted in a painful area. I couldn't send him exact reference photos for my idea since canaries aren't popular tattoos and it was hard to find them in flight in photos, but Jake definitely studied the bird and the ideas I sent him! I loved how it turned out. I book a consultation in May, spoke in July, and got tatted in December. Definitely don't be scared to double text when planning. Came in at 10am on a Saturday. The setup took pretty long and the breaks in between were super long. I left around 2:30. The rate was $180/hour. I was charged a bit over 2 hours. The time went by fast! I was super impressed by the difference in styles from the artists around the shop. They are crazy talented!"

"I was meaning to write a review but it slipped my mind. It was my first time ever getting a tattoo and I clearly wasn't super prepared for it. I walked in around 2 hours before they closed, and Jake was available because he had a cancellation. He was willing to draw out what I had in mind for my tattoo, found a good spot on my shoulder for it, and was ready to jump in right away. While he was working on it he was extremely nice and careful with it, and was good at having conversation and easing me into the whole process. I was definitely a bit of a pain when it came to my inexperience but he was patient and I can't stress enough how important that was in deciding to follow through with getting the tattoo. He did a great job and is definitely a great artist and a great guy guy overall. The atmosphere of the place was great with art everywhere and it was really neat. My first tattoo experience was great and I owe it to Jake and the rest of Humble Beginnings. I definitely reccommend you check them out, whether you are brand new or are looking for great quality work. Thank you guys! I am definitely interested in coming back sometime in the future."
