Reviews
"I'm going to have to say some of these reviews of nice cashiers and no lines obviously was a paid review. This is quite possibly the worst store in town. The employees are all quite rude and don't expect to get out in any sort of hurry. In fact just now checking out the cashier/I think maybe manager, they all look the same, was quite rude about giving me an extra bag when I offered payment and with ebt they are free anyhow. GO TO SAFEWAY!"
"Never any cashiers. Seems like they purposely schedule the staff short everyday. They will have only two registers most of them time even just one open for all the customers with more than 15 items. They never open another register when they see the line is backed up and cashiers move very slow. Expect to be at this store for over an hour. (Mostly waiting in line). Needs better management. They were also told couple months ago they couldn’t open the store for the day due to health violations."
"This is the food co. There is too much line to do the checkout and there is just 1 cashier open this is the worst execution we had for Costco can you just explain to us what’s the reason for not opening the cashier"
"I compare all other grocery store prices against Foods Co to see if I'm being overcharged. Foods Co is consistently the cheapest place to buy anything canned, bagged, boxes, or bottled. Their produce isn't always the cheapest or the freshest - I prefer Grocery Outlet for that. And honestly, Safeway is cheaper than any of these retailers for several items namely dairy products, meats, and produce if you use the Safeway app and clip the coupons the day you go shopping. The lines here are usually very long, which sucks and also adds a lot of pressure on the shopper to transact quickly at the cash register, and there are no "self-checkout" options. So if you don't like stressful grocery shopping, I would consider another retailer -- at least in San Francisco."
"The store was clean and well organized. Regrettably, there were too few cashiers. The lines were very long. I was able to purchase the product I intended for a good price. There were some great cost saver food items."
