"Nice gradual distance hike with some cows on the hills"

"There's some tables and bathrooms although they locked it at around 5:20. Once inside the park you can leave at any time I guess we left at 6:30 but the entrance was closed already. I saw a couple of people walking dogs, a couple if cars just parked. We wanted a table so we could eat and carved our pumpkins no one bothered us."

"Lovely place to park your car for a hike on Calaveras Ridge Regional Trail. They have restroom as well near this staging area. On the trail there aren't any trees but the scinic views from top are super awesome. The trail gets very steep very quickly so be prepared for a good hike. Over all my experience was super awesome. It is a grate place to bring your family and friends."

"We did half the hike. My three kids and my wife and I enjoyed the rolling hills. We also took our dog which like the hike. The road was pretty clear and the views were really nice. We took the Calaveras Ridge Regional Trail. There was no tree cover or shade so I would not recommend this hike during the summer. We did it in the spring which meant the surrounding were very grew. Watch out for the cow poop though."

"Excellent hike with a very convenient location. There are cows grazing along part of the trail, and while large (and a little smelly) they aren't mean or intimidating. There are fences and gates to keep them in their pasture. There's a lovely bench up at the top of the hill offering beautiful views of Dublin/Pleasanton. I especially like it for evenings and sunsets, but it does get quite windy up at the top - bring water and a jacket."
