"I started taking Cinnamon to Barkingdales 3 months ago. I only will post a honest review! I explained to Kenzie how I wanted Cinnamon groomed. Kenzie didn’t quite understand or I didn’t explain it well. So the 2nd time I went over the grooming and even sent pictures to show her how the last groomer done her. Picked her up and it wasn’t quite right but almost there. Took her the 3rd time and explained again how I wanted her cut and Kenzie stated she understood my expectations and she has the pictures for reference. I walked in and Kenzie hands me Cinnamon and takes my card to make my payment. At the same time a couple came in and Kenzie was very happy or excited to see them. So she didn’t give me a card for next appointment or anything. I stated that Cinnamon’s hair around her eyes and head needed some more taken off. She seemed a little irritation or aggravated and grabbed some sheers and kept talking to the other clients and said how is that? Well I don’t know how she missed my bright red face but I just stated it’s fine and left. She literally chopped up her facial hair and she looked horrible! So I left very upset and chose not to discuss at that time due to respect for myself and her. Because I was upset. So I called today to make sure no appointment had been made. I spoke with Kenzie and then Tammy. Both stated I did not have any appointments. I explained to Kenzie my issues and as to why I would not be returning. Kenzie immediately went on the defense with a whole lot of sarcasm. I let her finish and then I tried to explain to her again and she wouldn’t stop speaking over me so finally I spoke a little louder than her and then she put Tammy on the phone. Tammy stated who she was and wanted to know what the issue was. I could tell that she was going to be on the defensive! And she stated she could hear me across the room and I tried to tell her that was when I took my voice up a notch when speaking with Kenzie because she wasn’t listening either. Tammy stated it might be best I go somewhere else. I advised her I was already in that process. Then she hung up the phone. If they cannot accept constructive criticism then they cannot and will not grow in their personal or business relationships."

"They did amazing with my two yorkies neither of them had ever been to a groomer. My girls looked beautiful."

"I have used this facility several times and have been thrilled. My Molly the yorkie died in June and I replaced her with another yorkie named Gracie and a havanese pup named Havana. Sept took Havana for grooming did not want the dog shaved. She looked fabulous! Today took both Gracie and Havana and Gracie. My husband wanted the same groom for Havana and Gracie was just trim around her face and trim nails. When my husband arrived to pick them up the groomer told my husband he was not going to be happy. He paid 100$ got the dogs and was shocked to see Havana as she was shaved totally on her body. Even her legs. I was working and when they got home I was shocked to see Havana. I sent a private msg on Facebook and advised my disappointment all they had to do was *call* if they thought they could not properly groom as I asked. Plus they both smell like a kennel dogs. I was answered by Tammy the owner she said the dog was matted terrible they dont hurt animals. And I need to find another groomer. I was sending another message to say I was happy with Gracie but to my surprise I was officially blocked on their Facebook business page! This all could have been av by a simple phone call.Its easier to shave a dog.. one star is too much for Barkindales."
