"Great products but install was not up to par. There are nearly 1/2 gaps in some places between the flooring and the wall a terrible cut that was poorly patched in front of my stove. And the quote didn't include baseboards (which was my oversight) Floor near door to outside is just left with no finishing trim either and hollow core door that was cut is shredded on one side as well. I sent pictures and Mari doesn't seem to see any problems.... ?? I just asked for a discount in the labor/install part and was offered $200 which feels insulting. When I hire a professional, I expect professional, thorough work. This is not what Flooring Alternatives offers. Install it yourself or hire someone else to do it."

"STAY AWAY!!! I am so livid from our experiences with Flooring Alternatives and Mari that I am certain these 5 star reviews never actually bought floors or they never dealt with Mari. Our order was mishandled multiple times and customer service is non-existent, which is INEXCUSABLE when you are paying thousands of dollars for a product. Let's start with this: I left a voicemail (because no one ever answers the phone here) confirming we wanted to purchase floors. That day, Mari calls back and she takes my card number. Thrilled to finally get our new home up and running, I asked, "Great! So I'll get a confirmation email with all the information?" She said "Yep". So, I wait patiently... but nothing ever showed up on my card and I never got an email. So a week later, we call again. No answer. Frustrated, we drive to the store. Mari says "I'm sorry I never put in the order. Let me run your card now". Ugh. This is the first red flag there would be an issue but we decided to give benefit of the doubt. So the card gets run, she gives us the paperwork and receipt, and she says we can pick up the floors next week at the distributor. We confirm multiple times: So we just go and pick it up ourselves? She says "Yep, show them the paperwork". Since my card was charged and we had paperwork, I figured it's all smooth sailing. WELL.. That day comes and we arrive at the distributor. The distributor owner, who was incredibly helpful by the way, looks at our paperwork sadly, does some extra digging, and tells us that they don't have our order AND Mari never actually placed it with the flooring company!!!! We are all frantically calling Flooring Alternatives now = no answer. I email her = no answer. So now we have floor installers waiting at our house, who we are paying (!!!), but we have no floors to install and no answer about what happened with our order and OH YEAH I still got charged thousands of dollars for a product I never received. It is incredible how even after charging us money, she didn't even place the order and gave no updates! I never post public reviews because I think most people try their hardest. But this is such an abomination I hope everyone reads this because this company does not deserve to take people's money."
