"My husband called around 1:30 today to get pricing. He was given a price and so we drove there to find the gate closed, so we called again. We are then told they have been closed all day due to weather. We asked no one mentioned it on the phone when calling for pricing. The reponse was, no one asked if we were open. Are you serious?"

"I have bought alot of materials from them over 50 yards of gravel from them 3 months ago. They charged me $100 for delivery for each load out to pleasant valley. Called today and the guy I spoke with said it was $180 now. I asked why he said $150 per hr. And $30 for gas. That's ridiculous! I am a General contractor and am very familiar with pricing and his price is outrageous. It was almost like he just made it up as per customer. I wish I never gave them business. He also did not care that I had spent thousands of dollars there. What this business doesn't understand is that it needs to be more competitive on pricing or else they are going to loose all there customers like me especially now with economy the way it is."
"I want to let you know about what happened to me and my experience with Acer. I purchased 4 yards of bark to be delivered and when purchasing they asked where would I like it delivered. I let them know to place on the right side of the driveway and I paid and left. I also asked if I needed to be present when they delivered and they said "no, not at all, they would take care of it." Later on that day, the delivery guy was dropping off, as I went outside to see exactly where it would be dropped off at, the driver failed to stop, and rammed the house, I had to run out to the truck and punch the side of the truck to get him to stop, but he had already damaging the gutter. His words were "so...rry". I asked what now? He said the owner would be in contact. I said ok, 3 days later, I called because I had not heard anything. When I called, I was told by the wife of the owner that I would get a call back. 2 days later, nothing. I called again, they yelled out around the room, "its the gutter guy.. tell him we will call him back." 2 days later, nothing, I called again and they said "we tried to call you, but there was no answer." I thought that's funny, no missed calls and no voice messages. The next day, my wife and I stopped in to say hi to Acer in person. It was at that point the owner's wife said.."if you look at your receipt you will see that Acer is not responsible for any damages if delivered." They could have mentioned that from the start. Yes, it was there, it did say that. I wanted to review and let you know.. buyer beware..read your receipts. In my opinion, if I had a business, I would have called the customer immediately or as soon as possible, I would have insurance for these instances and I would have took care of my customer. As it is, the damages is estimated at $400.. thank you. Acer. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- That was a review from month ago.. a few days after that review the owner called me and let me know he was sorry that he had been super busy that his business was busy and short staffed. He asked that I take down the review and he would pay for the damages. I agreed, and took down the review immediately after getting off the call. 2 days later, I called to let him know that I took the review down and asked if he made good on his request, he said.. as good as done! but no, he didn't do anything about it. 3 weeks later.. NOTHING! I thought Acer was good on their word, but I was mistaken."
