"The cons: We reported weak spots in the flooring during our walk through in June, and nothing was done about it until 5 months later. They finally sent out a repairman to take a look and they deemed the house “uninhabitable” so myself, my husband and 3 children were told we had to vacate the premises immediately. When we moved in, the refrigerator didn’t work and they didn’t have a replacement ready for a week. The air conditioner did not work in the middle of summer, they didn’t fix it for a week, while the inside temperature was up at 90 degrees. Our hot water tank also didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it for a week. The portable dishwasher that came with them home was filled to the brim with dead cockroaches and cockroach eggs and feces, we removed it from the home and asked for a replacement, we didn’t get one. So when we moved into the house in June, the air didn’t work, the hot water didn’t work, and the fridge didn’t work as well as the floor being weak to the point of it depressing when stepped on. It’s $30 on top of $1,500 a month to pay your rent with a card. You have to pay $1,000 deposit, first months rent, and then $200 admin fee to move in. For $2,700 to move in, the amount of stuff we had to deal with was unacceptable. The home itself was filthy when we moved in, and whomever they paid to paint the home came in with a spray gun and painted the walls. They also painted most of the floor, the ceiling, and included the previous tenants hair painted into the walls along with spider carcasses and dead cockroaches. Having my family displaced right before the holidays due to poor communication between PMI and the landlord was unacceptable. Pros: PMI did offer to transfer our lease to another home, but that home was over an hour away from where we worked and our children went to school. -Since we were FORCED to move out in the middle of the month, PMI gave us our security deposit back, and the rest of the rent for October was given back to us. -Nathan Beach was helpful in getting us out of the lease, and he was polite but PMI as a whole was constantly shifting blame to the landlord and not accepting responsibility at ALL for the stress that my family was put through. If I could go back, I would never go through PMI or recommend PMI to anyone."
"Terrible customer service. We pay our HOA dues through the app every month. I tried to this month and could not get it to go through. Called to see if they could help or we could pay over the phone, the rep was not helpful at all. They offered an "extension" but couldn't say for how long. Only suggestion offered was bringing. payment to the office which is out of our way for my husband and myself. very frustrating."
