All that changed when I found Michelle Spinks at Haven Hair Studio 8 months ago. She gets curly hair. We looked at a few photos of styles that I thought would work for me and settled on one. Over the next few appointments, Michelle worked her magic. She cuts curly hair when it’s dry so she’s not working against the natural curl pattern. She showed me easy ways to style it so it’s now pretty much wash and wear. She’s open to suggestions but is always honest and kind if she doesn’t think an idea would work. The best testament to Michelle’s skills came from an unexpected source. My husband, who rarely notices these things, said to me a couple of months ago, “Your hair really has a shape to it now. It looks great!” I couldn’t agree more."

"Michelle is not only very talented and educated when it comes to curly hair, but also makes the whole experience VERY enjoyable. She never tries to squeeze money out of you and has reasonable prices. Did I mention her place smells amazing, and is always VERY clean. Her head massages are out of the world. At the beginning of your session, Michelle will sit down with you to figure out exactly what you want and if you’re unsure will help you get the desired haircut for you.
