"The one star is for the chicken pot pie. This is basically old rotisserie chicken, chopped up in big chunks, stuffed into a pie that only has a top oily crust. You will do much better with frozen pot pies, like Marie's. My first time with Safeway's pot pie. Disgusting."

"This Safeway by far is the flagship of the two safe ways of Livermore California the employees and management are not only personal but professional and the customers that shop here are great if you ever have a question or need help they are always there to assist you and the night crew is unbelievable they make sure that everything is ready in the morning and they keep the store going this by far is the best Safeway in the district . Excellent management. The employees that work for Safeway are so helpful and have a great attitude and go over and beyond their means to assure that the customers who shop here are satisfied and will continue to shop at this store. "Update: 01.03.23 Great, fresh produce. We like that it's locally sourced wherever possible. Pre-cut fruit bowls are a nice convenience when making family lunches, and provide our family with a nice variety of fruits without having to buy large quantities of each fruit that would otherwise go to waste. Can't give positive feedback on the restroom, though. Soap was empty, toilet bowl was soiled, floor needed to be mopped, stainless steel hand dryer & entry door have clearly not been cleaned for some time, as numerous fingerprints, stains, condensation water marks everywhere. This may not be noticed unless if light is hitting the object indirectly, but was obvious to me that whomever ought to be cleaning the bathroom thoroughly & often didn't do so. There's no checklist posted on the door either, which used to be standard to show employees check the facilities hourly. Graffiti on the neon ceiling fixture and nobody noticed?! How could a guest possibly change a baby's diaper when it's obviously broken, just hanging there - soiled, no less, and built in wipe dispenser is empty? Two words to describe my thoughts on employees washing their hands in *this* restroom, some of whom may be returning to their workstation at the deli, bakery, prep-counters... YUCK! GROSS! (See pics.) Despite everything going up in price, Safeway is still reasonably competitive. Walking by fish counter was awful. Very strong smell of fish, and we know that reflects freshness (or lack thereof in this case). Everything well-stocked this time around even on this Sunday late afternoon. Lots of sale items, with adequate inventory. This was a one stop shop for us, got in & out quickly. Adding another 2 stars, great experience. They had run out of sal bravee items in produce - berries, grapes. Cashier asked me if I found everything ok, I said I was disappointed to come in for fruit and they were sold out. Cashier said, "Sorry that happens." Good selection of teas, many on sale & in stock. Good prices on cereals for the family."

"I won't be shopping here anymore. I don't mind self checkout for a few items but this morning I had 56 items in my basket with lots of produce. The only choice was to do self checkout with no cashiers available. I had so many groceries that all the bags wouldn't fit on the small counter space they provide."

"We always get all we want here. Veggies are always fresh. There is a wide range of essentials one can get here. They make cakes, other bakery items too which are pretty good. There’s also Starbucks inside. Recommended ✅ Visited and reviewed on 13.06.2023"
