"This will be a long one, so here's the TLDR up front: This is the single best and most honest Diesel shop I have been to with my Ford Transit 350 Diesel - and I've been to 8 in 4 different States. If you need a shop you can trust to get your vehicle working properly, take it here. The long story is that my wife and I bought our transit used, and it quickly had the engine light pop. We took her to 3 mechanics and 2 Dealerships in Michigan and Indiana, paid way too much money for repairs that didnt fix our problem. We traveled with it for a while because it didn't seem to impede operation and we were sick of getting taken for rides by people who didn't know how to fix it and didn't want to take the TIME to figure it out. We started working with American Diesel a few years after our purchase when we traveled to California and quickly appreciated their honesty and fair pricing with work. It was also immediately apparent that everyone there knows diesels better than anyone else we'd met. Eventually we bit the bullet again and asked them to work on perpetual engine light problem for us - half expecting that like everyone else they wouldn't be able to fix it. No. They worked on it, and worked in it. They didn't show us the door because it was complicated or time consuming. They didn't rake us over the coals when It came to pricing. They just took the time necessary and approached the problem like professionals with an eye for detail. My wife and I have been driving without issue for over 5000 miles and 5 months. It's been life changing for us to be able to travel without that constant amber glowing light. These guys are the absolute best and you cannot give your business to a better team."

"1st time there. Went in for a repair, they mistakenly repaired the wrong item based upon the touch of a keyboard selection. But repaired the correct item no questions asked and no additional funds out of pocket. The prices are cheaper than most places I shopped for the repair needed. The customer service is great and very knowledgeable in response to my questions on "The how to"s.". I will definitely continue bringing my Diesel truck there for service and repairs."

"I like to wait a bit before I review a new shop, this way I get to see how the work they did turns out. American Diesel floored me. This coming from a person that has been in the auto/bus repair business for many years. Lets start with their customer service and office atmosphere. They allowed me to stay in their waiting room with my dog the whole day and made me completely comfortable doing so. All of their staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as I would occasionally ask questions throughout the day...as I waited patiently for them to complete the work. Their technician, I believe his name is Dave, was an incredibly talented diagnostician. He had a great grip on the workings of the vehicle, how to diagnose the issues and how to repair them. I could not have asked for a better master tech than that. In fact, I would have loved to have this guy work for me back in the day. These guys went above and beyond in handling my issues and if I am within hundreds miles of them, I will head to their shop again in a heartbeat! I cannot thank you all enough for doing a fantastic job and keeping my costs down. It was a great feeling to drive away from your shop with confidence.
