"Prompt, courteous and friendly service. Dropped off a dozen pair of shoes for new heel pads. They looked great. It's like having my favorite old shoe "friends" back."

"I never leave any bad reviews. My philosophy is if nothing good to say, just don’t say anything at all. With a lots of hesitation, especially considering small mom & pop style store I wouldn’t want to hurt, I decided to say a few words with protection of consumers in mind as I, too was mislead by a headliner review who also took his shoes to be stretched which was my objective as well. I was charged $30, although, the young lady at counter tried to charge me $15. But, I got no issues with the cost even though I have no idea what the fair price is. So, shoes never got stretched properly. I had to go back twice and still not done. He actually tried to blame on my irregular foot size. I don’t think my right foot is any larger but not a podiatrist myself so this could be a medical possibility. All I know is that throughout my entire life, I never needed to stretch out any shoes & all my shoes fit comfortably & properly. These are fancy designer sneakers on sale I purchased from Bloomingdales which I knew were bit tight but they are usually several hundreds of dollars & on sale for like $250 so I knew what I was signing up for. Anyways, he actually tried to charge me additional $15 for another attempt & again didn’t think it was fair to be charged extra for something he should have done correctly in 1st place but why do I care about $15? However, I had to come back 2 days later for this. They aren’t very close to freeway at all in inconveniently located place. Plus, I started to wonder if I could trust him anymore with another try. So, I left without an argument but definitely informed him of my disdain! I want to be completely fair & not unjust. So, perhaps other forms of shoe repair, he may excel. But, definitely in regards to shoe stretching, go somewhere else."

"Great service and so polite. I took some golf shoes in that I love but the sole had separated. They are like new! I would highly recommend. Much cheaper than going out and buying new shoes that would have had to be broken in, etc."
