Meharry Medical Group, led by Dr. Xylina D. Bean, MD, is a pediatric clinic located at 1810 Albion Street in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Bean specializes in neonatology and offers a range of services including well child care, sick visits, school/sports physicals, and immunizations. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her fellowship and residency in Neonatology at Martin Luther King, Jr. General Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Bean is dedicated to providing high-quality care to her patients and is committed to the well-being of families in the community. Patients can access their medical records, insurance information, and appointments through the patient-centered medical home model and the Healow Mobile App. Additionally, telehealth services are available for added convenience. With a passion for empowering high-risk families, Dr. Bean co-founded the non-profit organization SHIELDS for Families in Los Angeles before returning to Tennessee in 2006. She currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Meharry Medical College and is a proud mother to her daughter, Raven.
