"My first time using this pawn shop and I will say my experience was a good one. The service was swift and efficient. I got the offer I was looking for on my pawn with no hassle. I would definitely recommend this location as a #1 pick for anyone looking for these services! Update- Since my initial post, I feel a bit ambivalent about my last encounter with who I presume to have been the owner. Came in with my husband to make a payment on my firearm a little before close and the owner asked what type of account I’d be making a payment on to which I responded “a pawn”. It was at this point he corrected me and said “so you’ll be paying on your loan” in a very snarky way and proceeded to go on explaining that a pawn was a loan as if I didn’t know that already. Honestly I was so focused on hurrying in to make my payment that I probably was half listening when he initially asked what kind of account would I be making a payment on and the only thing I heard him say last was “layaway”. After he went in with his brief yet very condescending rant, I realized he must’ve asked if I was paying on a “loan or layaway”. Nonetheless, the time he took to make the point about a pawn being a loan came off as very rude and unnecessary in its nature and quite unsettling, like he viewed us as ignorant. As we were finishing up the transaction, I kept trying to ask him what date was my next payment due on and what the balance was and he ignored me several times. I couldn’t believe this was the same guy that we had met on our first visit who was so welcoming at first and encouraging of us to leave a good review. I think he may have started to remember us from the first time we came but by then it was already pretty awkward. All feelings aside, business is business. No need to speak down to customers over minute discrepancies with verbiage. I know the area pretty well and I’m familiar with the spectrum of customers that may frequent the business. My husband and I were able to pick up on the vibe but it makes me wonder how many other people, like me, have similar or worse encounters?"
