"I brought a hub motor kit in with a hall sensor error that I bought from a third party seller. They changed some settings in the controller and it temporarily worked but then threw the error again. So I bought a completely new kit with the intention of having the two swapped out and returning the bad one. Instead of swapping it out they tried to hook the new controller up to the old motor and that didn't work so they decided to just hook the old kit up again and it all of a sudden started working again. I was afraid the problem wasn't solved but was told a wire was hooked up wrong and they hooked it up correctly. A couple days later the hall sensor error is back just like it was before. I contacted them and was basically told I'm SoL. During the entire process they acted disinterested and dismissive as if they never wanted to work on it to begin with. It sat at their shop for over two weeks while I called numerous times and left several messages with no return. I decided to *67 before calling one day and wouldn't you know they answered the phone. I'd rather they had just told me to begin with that they didn't want to take the project on and I would have not wasted my time or money. When I asked for break on the labor if I got another motor to swap out since what they did didn't fix it I was basically told they couldn't help me any further. Don't waste your time if you want someone actually interested in helping solve your problem."
