"He preformed my total hysterectomy on Aug.8th, 2022, and I did his own follow up calls. He has been consistent with my follow up care, and Everything is in working order! I still have my my ovaries, and I know that after my 8 weeks it’s definitely going to be worth it all. He never showed that he was annoyed with my 1000 questions, and he answered all of them. Please don’t ask him 1000 just to see for yourself. Just know that you are in good hands."

"I cannot recommend Dr. Thigpen enough. I fully credit him with a healthy, successful pregnancy and delivery. I found Dr. Thigpen as I was looking for a doctor who would most support my desire to try for a VBAC delivery. He came highly recommended by a friend. After our first phone consult, I knew he was exactly what I was looking for. Through my appointments, he was attentive, patient, and thorough. As we neared the end of my pregnancy, it was clear that my baby was determined to stay in the breech position. I truly believe had I had any other doctor, this would have meant no other option than a C Section. But Dr. Thigpen performed a successful external cephalic version! I honestly didn’t believe it was possible. Due to some unforeseen complications (that were caught thanks to Dr. Thigpen’s dedication and attention to detail), I had to be induced a few days after the version, which is not ideal when trying for a VBAC. But Dr. Thigpen was there to advise on every step. I am so happy to say, I had the birth I was hoping for and a perfectly healthy baby boy. Dr. Thigpen truly supports and honors your wishes. He has the perfect bedside manner and is revered at Vanderbilt Hospital. He’s just the best!"

"Dr. Thigpen is an amazing OBGYN who took incredible care of me during my pregnancy and delivery. He is knowledgeable and personable, which is invaluable in a doctor. He always was willing to spend ample time with me during my prenatal visits answer my myriad of questions. Furthermore, he was incredible during the delivery, including stopping by several times to check on me despite it being the holidays. He took amazing care of both me and my son during the delivery, and I will always be grateful he was our provider. I can not recommend him highly enough."

"I switched from Vine hill to baby and co and was nervous about everything during my pregnancy. Dr Thigpen always reasured me and because of him i was confident enough to work up until 32 weeks. I was also nervous about not having midwives at my scheduled C section but dr thigpen did the job it took 2 midwives and two drs to do and he stitched me up so well you cant even see it. "Dr. Thigpen has been a GREAT OB! I am 38 years old and was listed as HIGH RISK with my pregnancy. I wanted to find an OB that would take good care of my son and I. I chose Baby & Co., because of the tour and midwives. Dr. Thigpen gave me the opportunity to receive care there and it was fantastic care. When I had a concern, he was there to help me and make sure that we were ok. I had a concerning ultrasound one time and was not given a lot of information by the tech. I was so worried, but Dr. Thigpen did whatever he needed to do in order to get the information and explain what was going on.
