"I honestly don't know what to say here that everyone else hasn't already said. Just read all the reviews and you will find every single one of them true (except for the 1 lone star review and that is not a reflection on Dr. Schlecter herself. That's more a front office thing). She is a very busy physician with A LOT of patients, appointments can be hard to come by even as a patient and she's in very high demand - for good reason. Despite all the busyness, she ALWAYS makes you feel like you're her top priority. She is indeed a very sweet, caring, positive person with a sense of humor who let's it show she loves what she does. I've never met any doctor like her. She's smart and educated and caught things early on in my pregnancy that had it been another doctor could've led to a miscarriage like before. I'm so glad I found this place and grateful there was such an amazing doctor to see us through our first successful pregnancy."

"Dr. Schlechter is by far the best Doctor that I have ever had in my 36 years on this Earth. My husband agreed that he had never met a Doctor quite like her. Her chairside/bedside manner is extremely difficult to find in medicine. I always felt like I came first and she always remembered things about my personal life that I had shared. She truly cares for each patient as an individual, I have no doubt about that. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a brilliant and caring physician. "I don't have enough good things to say about my recent experience with Dr. Schlechter. I found her via referral from a friend when looking to change doctors with my second pregnancy. From the beginning my husband and I were both impressed with her bedside manner, professionalism and personality. It's not often you find a great doctor who is also incredibly pleasant, friendly and easy to talk to. When it came time to deliver our baby, Dr Schlechter never strayed from my birth plan unless she was positive it was my decision. I truly felt like she was my advocate every step of the way. She arrived quickly to the hospital and I fully agree with the poster who described the team of nurses and how professional and orchestrated they were around her. I was at Centennial, proving this professionalism, witnessed a year apart at two different hospitals, is definitely due to Dr Schlechter and not a certain team of nurses. She was encouraging, personable, and made the whole experience enjoyable and pleasant. She was prompt in her post partum visits and made me feel like I had just conquered the world by having my baby (which is the lift you need after going through labor and delivery!) I am so happy to have found Dr Schlechter and could not have asked for a better experience!"

"Today we had an amazing experience with Dr. Schlechter. Our Daughter went into labor this morning and was at the hospital sometime after 4 AM today. The hospital called my Daughters MD, Dr. Schlechter, and she arrived in a very short period of time, (around 30 or so minutes). She was very detailed in her explanations. Her bedside manner quickly put everyone at ease and her proficiency and skill was over the top in everything she did while we were there until and after the birth of our Grand Daughter. Dr. Schlechter was ultra confident and the staff of nurses worked as an orchestrated team of professionals around her. The birth was easy and everyone preformed flawlessly at Baptist Hospital. At one point, my Grandson, who was also in the room became anxious and scared when he saw his Mother during a contraction. Dr. Schlechter stopped what she was doing and came over and on a bended knee explained to him how she was not going to let anything bad happen to his Mother and or his baby Sister. She was so genuine, understanding and calming that it settled his concerns. If you are looking for a compassionate, caring, kind and highly skilled MD, you could not dream of a better Doctor to assist you than Dr. Schlechter and the skilled team at St. Thomas Midtown.
