"Now I'm off to college, and this review is long overdue. Ernie is my family's barber. Hands down!! My fam has the best barber in the game! He cuts my little bro and my father's hair. Ernie is a wizard with the shears, clippers, and straight razor. I've switched up multiple hairstyles throughout the years, from comb overs to undercuts and messy natural looks. Ernie can do fades and tapers, and everything in between. My current hair style has that beachy messy razor textured vibe, and I always receive compliments after getting my hair done. I dig it! Ernie is the most professional barber who has ever cut my hair. My entire family and I make the drive from Chino Hills to Rancho Cucamonga, and that's for a reason. He consistently delivers exactly what we're looking for in a haircut service. Ernie's personality is chill, and I always look forward to our conversations. And... Of course, considering his 5-star rating on Yelp and Google, you'll need to book him in advance. All his clients have been spoiled with online booking. It's super easy to navigate and schedule a haircut service in advance. Always recommended! He's professional, and I always leave his chair feeling great and handsome. Do yourself a favor and book with him. Because let's face it, your current barber runs 30 minutes late before scheduling appointments... I'm sure that can get annoying easily. "By far the greatest experience I've ever had getting a haircut. Instead of sitting me in his chair, asking me a generic question about how I wanted my hair to be cut, and then rushing thru the cut in order to get me out of the chair so he can move on to his next client, Ernie took the time to talk to me about what I was looking for in a cut and explained different ways/options to cut it. I've never had a barber do this. It's clearly evident that Ernie takes his profession seriously and cares about his clients. The actual haircut is the best I have ever gotten. Ernie is super down to earth, kind, courteous, respectful, and professional. About three hours after my haircut, Ernie texted me a recap on the cut explaining everything he did to my hair in precise detail, even down to way my hair parts and where it combs. Amazing!! I've never had a barber do this either. I highly recommend getting your haircut by this guy."

I get a medium 1 1/2 high skin taper with a messy textured top cut with shears and a razor. Ernie takes his time to make sure he gives the exact style and look you're trying to achieve. Each service comes with a straight razor with warm lather, followed up with a hot, steamy towel to finish the service. Sitting in Ernie's chair, he'll hit you with that vintage, old-school barber vibe from back in the day. Ernie has cut my toddler's hair. He's great with young kids. He's detail oriented and continues to take his time. The wife approves, he's the family barber. He's a busy man, so it's highly recommended to book in advance. "I've migrated from barber to barber over the years and finally found my guy. By chance, I happened to stumble upon an appointment with Ernie a year ago and was instantly blown away. I now exclusively see him for all my hair and beard needs. I legitimately look forward to paying him a visit. I've gotten several haircuts and beard trims over the past year and couldn't be more satisfied. From his products to professionalism, Ernie is thorough with the initial consultation. He takes his time to understand what his clients want and executes with good detail. Ernie gives me a fade (metal 2) on the sides with a low skin taper on the sideburns and nape area. He edges my beard clean-cut and sharp, helping maintain my flyaway beard hairs. Not only is Ernie a great barber, but he's great for conversation, and I truly enjoy his company.
