"In town from Fort Worth Texas for the weekend visiting family for a reunion and the Fuerza Regida concert. I needed a walk in to get my beard edged up for my big weekend. I was seated immediately and got the best edge up I could have ever gotten. Great conversation and atmosphere. The place was clean and professional. I came back for a wedding two weeks later and got the same quick professional service. Highly recommend this Barber shop. It's my place of choice when I travel to Bakersfield from now on."

"EXCUSE OF A BARBERSHOP I have been coming to this barbershop since they were "Get Faded" Barbershop on panama. I occasionally come back to this barbershop to give it another shot and I am let down almost every single time. For several reasons this is one of the worst barbershops ive been too. To start, the barbers are rude and hostile to anyone they dont know. They are not easy going or approachable in anyway. any stranger or newcomer can instantly feel the lack of professionalism and common courtesy in the workplace. I usually dont even leave reviews unless the service was fantastic or awful and this "barbershop" is the worst ive been to. The barbers never listen to your requests unless youre getting a very basic haircut. On top of this the workers are almost always either too lazy to take a walk in so you sit there awkwardly waiting for the barber whos sitting there talking to the other barbers or watching tv. When you do finally get seen by one of these "barbers" they actively engage in everything else BUT the haircut. I dont know about anyone else but I dont like it too much when the guy who is supposed to be taking his time to get the customers haircut right spends more time looking at his phone, talking to the other guys and picking a song rather than doing his actual job. Of course you can talk to your coworkers and check your phone but when your 40 minute haircut is only 10 minutes of dedicated hair cutting then I think there is some reasoning to be upset. the guy who cut my hair today pulled out his phone and recorded me without my permission and did all kinds of unnecessary parlor tricks to make up for his obvious lack of skill. SAVE YOUR 30 AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. the only cool barber here is isabel, if you do HAVE to go here, get an appointment with her because the rest of these "barbers" are not worth your hard earned money."

"I have gone to this shop multiple times and normally just shrug it off when they make a mistake. Not this time; this last hair cut was trash and it showed. I expect a higher quality of work and for a barber to pride themselves on their craft as apposed to treating it as a joke. will never go there again and recommend you don't either."

"THEY CARE FOR WHO'S IN THEIR CHAIR. I have been trying to find a barber who interacts with my 7 year old. My son is very independent and knows what he wants. Anthony is SOOO great with that. My son holds full conversation while getting his hair cut the way HE wants it cut. I appreciate the acknowledgement he gives him. I would recommend West Coast Barber Shop to every parent who has to let their once baby, now big boy grow up."

"My barber wasn't in town and I needed a hair cut, so I went to this place. It had a nice atmosphere. I was able to get a sit as soon as I walked through the doors. A guy named Luis gave me the cut. I was nervous going to another barber since I was going to my guy for years. He did a great job I was well pleased with the outcome. Didn't talk the whole time asked a few questions but other than that down to business. I would recommend anyone to try it out. I may have just found a new spot."
