"Bought a set of rims at 8:30 and needed them on my car, the tire smith saw that the tires. There were so many problems with the rims they didn’t hold air because of bad valves there was a huge hole in one of the tires over all much more than he thought he was in for. I feel really bad that I came last minute before close but I wanna say he really explained everything to me and he took his time. I appreciate your help I definitely recommend"
"Quick, efficient, amazing. In and out real quick. This is the only place open late at night and i’m so thankful they were so accommodating for me. Definitely coming back if I have any other issues with the tires, but I really appreciate being able to replace my popped tire when I was panicking about being able to go home tonight with my dog."
"The worst. Never ever use their service. Fraud. I needed to replace tow rare tires . And that guy put two different brands on both sides, telling they are the same. Be careful with that shop"
"I had an emergent need on a Tuesday afternoon to replace 2 tires on my Honda Pilot. One blew when I swerved to avoid an unhoused neighbor who jumped in front of me, the other was slowly dying. This is not my first tire replacement rodeo. So I won't recommend just any location cause they slapped a tire on. This place is a solid no BS tire shop. I liked my experience. Entered from 14th Street off of Alameda. Quick turn in from the corner. Place is fenced off otherwise. First thing I noticed was a large selection of new and used tires. 2 bays. They also do smog checks. Great hours 7am - 10pm. I went here without calling first, I was waved into a bay by George. I asked if it's Jorge, he winked and said yes. He is a friendly, bi-lingual man who helped me out. Quoted a very fair price for 2 good used tires. They have a good amount of tred and look nice. Plus they don't have any holes in them, UPGRADE! Stated he would put my spare back under the car for me as well. Is NICE, I like! (Channeling Borat.) There is a waiting area outside, but in the shop with a leather sofa, lounge seats. Soda vending machine. So you are in the shade. You can pay cash or card. I was in and out in under 45 min. That's because I was talking too much per usual, slowing it down. I think that Jorge has a great, honest ethic. He is a hard working man who deserves your business. If you have need for tires or a smog check in the downtown area, I recommend that you go here."
"UPDATE:Checked this morning and the tire is flat and cracking. Basically stole my money, I wouldn't be surprised if the reviews from others are people they know ------- Original Review: I just had a horrible experience here. This morning my tire light turned on, my tire was flat as the tread had worn completely thin and are was leaking through the tire. I used to drive uber and just havent checked on my tires since I was able to stop driving. I am currently still living paycheck to paycheck and my bills come due the 15thnot to mention only recently was I able to stop living in my car so I wasn't financially prepared for a flat. I got towed to stop n go as it was the closest place to wear I pulled over when my tire light came on. The owner had quoted me a price for a tire I couldn't afford and then he went lower on it. I agreed I had to have my tire fixed. He then told me I needed a whole new wheel and that it was the more than the price of a tire, I didn't have any extra money and I didn't know what to do so I started to cry. He then did something, I don't know what and then said ok it's fixed you owe me money. And I said how much money do I owe you, the new wheel he said I would have to buy I know was not put on the car because he left it in front of me when I started to cry. He said ok, and told me the amount for the tire was what I was going to pay. He came out with 4 receipts asking why I lied to him. He decided to charge me more than we had agreed the tire was for to check if I had more money than I said. I started crying again because he'd overdrafted my account and now I'm going to have to call my bank to have fees taken off. Also, he didn't have any right to charge my card more than we had agreed to. He goes to refund the extra money he shouldnt have charged in the first place and then comes back with the void receipts and tells me I need to just get out of there. I turn my ignition and my tire light is still on. I ask why the light is on if he fixed the tire. When I've gotten my tire changed before it goes off immediately. He claims I have to drive it and it will go off. He then gets a group of guys to tell me the same thing even though I now it's not true. They say to drive around the block and come back and they'll fix it if its not off. The light doesn't go off and they closed the gate when I came back. I then climbed the fence to get them to fix my tire. I had paid for it and I was very afraid to drive on it with the light still on. They refused to fix my tire after they had already charged me. I drove back home at around 45 miles per hour on the freeway with the light on and my tire is still not fixed. I'll have to call my bank and dispute this charge wait to get my money back and then find someplace to actually fix my tire."
