I have typical Asian hair which is very hard to be lifted without being damaged. Upon meeting after seeing John’s amazing work, I knew he is THE ONE. During my first hair highlighting session with John, he walked me through every step the process and did an amazing job making my hair goals come true! The condition of my hair posed challenging because it was fragile due to previously overprocessing. John was so patient, involved and even stayed late to finish and style my hair at the end. Could not be happier!!! John is the best hair colorist and he is the savior to my hair. He is very conscientious and knowledgeable about how to make my hair more manageable...His consultations are always informative and helped me decide. He always goes above and beyond for his clients. "John was always nice when I came in and had my hair done. But at one point at the most recent one while I was waiting to have my hair dried he stuck me in front of the heaters and left me for 45 minutes (unnecessarily as there was no product in my hair that needed heating) to cut another client's hair who would just walked in the door. Plus I happened to stop by and see my previous hairdresser in my hometown while I was home for the holidays, and she said my highlights were really splotchy and he did not take the time to fully lift out all of my natural color. It's cheaper for me to drive 4 hours, stay a night in my hometown, and get my hair cut and colored exactly as I want than it is to see John. Not to mention I saved myself an extra hour of sitting at the salon. As nice as John is, I'm not spending that much money to have golden/orange highlights when I want ash blonde."

"I got my hair bleached and toned by John and as you can see from the pictures it turned out amazing! My hair is still super healthy even though I got it bleached twice and toned, and I also got great product recommendations to take care of my hair. They were also very safe with covid, making sure we were distanced from other guests and had temperature tests before entering. Also, I had to wear a mask the whole time and everyone else did as well."
