"How hard could it be to pick out paint for a new house build? Turns out- pretty hard! I spent countless trips to paint stores to get color chips, buying a huge collection of sample paints, paint sponges, paint brushes, poster boards, canvass boards, and dozens of samplize sticker backed paint samples. Then I tried to compare all of the above on different walls with different lighting. Add to that trying to read up on color blogs on the internet. "We had an excellent consultation on paint colors with Sylvia as part of our painting contract with McLain Painters. Sylvia arrived on time and was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. She was very patient with us as we discussed paint colors for multiple rooms that must coordinate with the few rooms we did not plan to paint. I think we were quite scatter-brained at times, but she calmly pulled us back and helped us compromise on what would look best for each room.
