"Unfortunately my brief experience with this company (Van Nuys location) was not great by any means. The man O spoke with was very unprofessional and offered terrible customer service. I was calling to get a quote for Auto insurance, red flag number one - the line continued to ring, and they never picked up. No answering machine. Not too long afterwards I get a call back, but the person who answered the phone didn't state who they were or what company they represented, so I was confused as to who I was speaking to. As I was trying to figure out and ask clarifying questions the man on the phone sounded annoyed, and had an attitude, wasn't friendly at all, rude. In my opinion, you can already certain things about a company based on how they talk to customer/ potential customers over the phone. I was so turned off by this interaction that I told the rep never mind and can he can disregard the call. before I could even finish my sentence, he hung up in my face. If I were you, take your money and business elsewhere."

"Completely FRAUD, RIP OFF! AMAX VAN NUYS CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME AFTER CANCELLATION. ENDED UP PAYING 350.00 FOR 2 WEEKS OF INSURANCE FOR 20 YEAR OLD CAR. THEY ALSO KEEP YOUR CARD ON FILE EVEN AFTER IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REMOVED."
