"I couldn’t be happier with the care delivery from the front office staff, aid/tech, hygienist & dentist! I have Dr. Jan and I must say I’m very impressed! This is coming from a health care professional & someone who’s been to the dentist more than I would like. I can tell Dr. Jan is meticulous & thorough. I feel very comfortable with her because she comes across as very genuine. Fixing the most concerning things but also standard of practice when it comes to overall maintenance. I’m very glad I was looking for a new dentist & made the switch to this practice. It started with me, but I’m bringing my family over as well. If you are on the fence about switching, looking to switch, or want to give this practice a shot, you won’t regret it! I surely don’t."

"Dr Jan & Dr Pham pointed out that 2 of my very old & very large fillings were breaking apart & my teeth were developing cracks that could result in further tooth destruction & the need for a root canal! Instead, after seeing that my teeth were healthy on their X-rays, they gave me an option to save most of my tooth & do something similar to a small crown. Thanks for your knowledge, wisdom & care! They really do treat you like family!"

"BEWARE OF NEW/OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT!!! FULL REVIEW ON YELP!! I am perturbed and flabbergasted by the treatment, service and care I have received by the recent ownership that has taken over Chatsworth Family Dental, specifically Dr. Jan and Dr. Pham; it is a husband and wife team. It is no longer ran/owned by Dr. D. This review is for all the long standing patients and possible new patients to beware. You have been warned. Please save your money, time and stress by avoiding the hassle of dealing with doctors that treat will you like garbage! I have been coming to see Dr. D (the doctor who owned this practice prior) since I was a child. I am talking over 30+ years! He was like family to me, I trusted him and he cared for me. In fact, my whole family has used him as our dental provider for a majority of our lives. Never have I ever had an issue!! I have only had amazing things to say prior with Dr. D and refused to leave for the longest time. But reality of him retiring set in, but I was scared since it is hard to find a doctor you can trust, does amazing work and that truly cares about all his patients. I always felt heard, informed, respected, safe, comfortable, valued and cared for with Dr. D. He loved what he did and loved all his patients and this kind of service will be so missed. Now comes Dr. Jan, what a disgrace and disappointment to have such a cold-hearted, mean, unprofessional person take over this practice!! I could go on and on since I went to her about 10 times and all of which were less than desirable every time. But I'll make this short. The last time I went to her, she said I needed to get two fillings done and another crown. I had an appointment that I made weeks prior, went to it just for her to tell me she was jammed and couldn't take my appointment! So I cancelled my whole day and moved appointments to waste my time. This is so unprofessional and the disregard for my time because you and your staff can’t manage and schedule appointments effectively is pathetic. Nevertheless, I let it slide and rescheduled per her request, even though I'm in pain! I make my appointment a few days later since it was around the holidays so 12/27/23 was my new appointment. I had a 9:40am appointment, and I there by 9:42 and they took me back to the room around 9:45. I waited close to 20 minutes before Dr. Jan came into the room. Maybe 1 minute before she came in I had an important call and she came to the computer looking annoyed and then stormed out. When I wrapped up my 4-5 minute call she was back. When she came back she said, “can I start now, I am running late and I'm behind”with an annoyed face and attitude. I said, “um I was on time and waited 20 minutes for you, so you were late and I had an important call that happened to ring seconds before you walking into the room. I think it is rude for you to yell and go off on me because you feel stressed and over worked. I did nothing wrong. “ I was shaking and so close to leaving as this was so disrespectful to be treated like this. But she then gave me a haphazardly apology, so I brushed it off since I needed these filings to be done. She then said I needed a crown on a neighboring tooth and left the room with no explanation. By the way, she does this a lot so if you want her to explain what you need done and why you will never get a response. And if she responds, she talks to you like you are mentally inept. So don’t ask for Dr. Jan’s expert opinion because she will expect you to know and figure it out on your own."

"They booked me on what I considered to be an Emergency on the first phone call as a new patient that was awesome!!!. I went in for a tooth extraction and it was completely painless. The staff was very friendly, they got me in and out of there. Quick paperwork was a breeze great dental office to deal with. This has got to be my best dental experience, yes. I would def recommend this office to anyone in need of a great dentist!"
