"I'm honestly very appalled about an interaction that happened as I was purchasing the clothes I selected. The blonde cashier was very rude. I purchased a lot of items and, as she scanned each item, the cashier would ask me if I still wanted to get it because it is expensive. The tone she asked in was very condescending as if she could not believe that I can afford them, but I didn't think anything of it. Then, when it was time to pay and I presented my bank card to her, she proceeded to tell me that she can only accept it if she saw a photo ID of mine. She did not ask any of the white customers in front of me in the line about their IDs. This confirmed to me that her entire condescending behavior was racist because we are people of color. She just could not believe we could afford more than a few items and they were not even that many. Racially profiling people for wanting to buy items to donate to helping people is another type of evil. I still got the clothes and showed her my ID. But, I was taken aback and appalled as I have never experienced such snobby and racist interaction. If you are a person of color, please do yourself a favor and avoid this store because they will treat you as less than. Such a shame that people like that exist in Davis."

"I've loved this shop ever since I was little and my mom took me here. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I like the variety of products the shop has, like clothes, jewelry, shoes, houseware, books, and purses. Sometimes things are a little too expensive, but the cool thing is that the price drops the longer the item remains in the store! Also, if you consign items and they sell, you get a portion of the profits. I have a sticker on my car advertising R&R!"

"I've always been able to find great kids clothes here. Good selection and very reasonable. Very nice staff and they even let me use their bathroom when my 3 year old needed to use it while shopping. Plus, the proceeds go to support mental health services in Yolo County."
