"Dr. Ascencio is such a great doctor. I originally went to Dr. Marcy Kazeminy, DDS Perla Family Dental on Story Road and King Road in San Jose. They originally told me they were in-network with my insurance. They took x-rays and did cleaning, Dr. March Kazeminy said I would need a root canal and a crown, I found that weird because my tooth didn't even hurt at all. I went with it, the following week I would've had the root canal done, I asked how much it would be with my insurance and they said they would email the co-pays. A couple of days before my appointment I got a HUGE quote because apparently they're not in-network. I immediately canceled my appointment and looked elsewhere. I found Dr. Ascencio through my insurance, so I wouldn't have any misshaps. He looked at my x-rays and said I wouldn't need a root canal, he had me come in for a few more checks and confirmed no root canal needed. He's not sure why the other office said I would, probably for the money! Dr. Ascencio is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He accommodates when needed and is straight forward with everything, no surprises. I'm so glad I found his office and will be a regular from now on."
