Windy Lakes Apartments

"Used to be affordable but just within the last few months rent has increased 3 times. Now a one bedroom is $760-$770 and a two bedroom is $865-$875 and nobody knows when it is going to cap off. This is quite an increase since rent used to be $475 for a one bedroom and $575 for a two bedroom. Susan the apartment manager is very nice and helpful along with Kevin the maintenance man but they are not the ones to blame for the rent increase. If we compare these apartments to other nearby apartments in the area we can find that here at windy lakes the appliances are not updated and we do not have washer/dryer hookups in unit like the other apartments in the area for around the same price. I used to love it here for the price but as of today I am not too sure if I can say the same. My neighbors and I all agree that rent is pricey and not enough bang for your buck. All in all yes it is still a place to live but just sad that this is what it has come down to."

"My son has an apartment here and I would love it if they could address the black mold around the window sills and in the bathroom on the ceiling and down the walls. Also, the drain will not let the water out easily when showering so your standing in about a half foot of dirty bath water while your washing. It does however drain out eventually after 30 minutes or so."

"I lived here in 1995 96 and 2004 to 2007. In my time there it was amazing. The apartments are set around other apartment buildings. It is very quite and you can get to alot of places very quickly."

"Ive been living here a 1 month and starting to regret it. Really nice lake side property, but it is dated as for as appliances. Prices fairly decent. Charge more for a patio and the manager has tenants that constantly report to her and she apparently has given them the authority to right notes about any and everything. I'm at work for 16 hrs a day and if I park in the handicap parking or take my dog it's a problem. While her favorite tenants can practically do what ever they want. If you don't mind a harassing apartment manager and her bothersome private eyes then it's an alright place to live."

"I've been living here for about a month now. We love the staff super friendly neighbours for the most part. Of course there's always that one bad able. We live on the second floor which you do hear when people are walking/vacuuming etc. other than that very peaceful"
