"Loved Rare Byrd and will definitely go back! I’ve had my hair done across 5 different countries (lived in Europe for a while) and all around the US! It’s a gamble, I know, but I’ve always followed reviews and meticulously researched quality colorists. I read reviews, look at pictures, call the salon and speak with them… did the same here and was absolutely pleased with the color and cut I received! The stylist (Brendalina) listened to what I wanted, was happy to look at sample pictures with me, was patient and took care to check in with me along the way. She also gave me her opinion, which was super helpful. When the color wasn’t as dark as I wanted, she went in again and added more toner. I really appreciated this level of care! I’ll come back to Brendalina for sure!!"

"I recently relocated to the area and was looking for a new hair stylist. I stumbled upon Rare Byrd's page on Yelp and decided to look at the stylist's work on Instagram, that's how I found Malyna! Malyna took the time to understand what I wanted, recommended new products for my hair that really made a difference (without the pressure of having to buy directly from their salon - much appreciated!) She brought my hair back to LIFE! The salon itself is really cute, lots of natural light, plants everywhere and overall, an eclectic vibe. Parking is somewhat limited, but there's a lot of street parking/meters available nearby as well. I look forward to going back."

"My wedding is coming up next week and I needed to find a place who could do a superior job. I’m new to the area, so I searched and found Rare Byrd. I’m sooo happy I found them! I had Malyna do highlights to add a little dimension and color, and cover up grays at my roots. I told her I wanted subtle but still be enough to notice. I showed her a couple pictures and she completely understood what I was looking for. They gave me rosé to sip on and all of the other stylists were coming over and complimenting Malyna that it was going to look so great. Well, it did! You can see from the pictures she did an amazing job. I highly recommend her and Rare Byrd salon for any of your hair needs!"
