Springfield Apartments 3726 Manson Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129

"I will give my most honest review as someone who lived there 3 years. At first when we moved in the apartments were nice well kept, about 1 1/2 years after living there everything began to go downhill I am not sure if they changed management but the new people at the office care more about silly resident events than actually keeping up with the complex. If you get an apartment in front of the mansion you are in luck they actually maintain that area very nice and clean since that’s where the model apartments are and the first thing new applicants will see, if you get one behind the mansion good luck. There was always dog poop and people not keeping their dogs on leashes which goes against the lease but they don’t do anything about it, also parking is a big issue here never in any other place I have lived before my car has gotten hit well it got hit here not once but twice and I mean some really nasty big paint scratches and was never able to find out who it was because visitors park and take over residents spots so if a visitor hits you mostly likely you will never find out because they don’t live there so is hard to find who it was; this not counting how pathetic people park always taking two spots at a time the towing cars thing is just a myth they never go. This is not counting the cheap paint and materials they use in the apartments and gate often broken I used to work a third shift and about 80 percent of the time the gate was open in the middle of the night. We found 8 mice in less than a year it was probably because there is an open field in the back and the lack of ground keeping in the back apartments attracts them I let them know multiple times to move us due to the issue since it’s unsafe, unsanitary and I have terrible phobia to mice I had many sleepless nights but they ignored my pleas it wasn’t until it was close to renewing the lease time that they offered to move us to a different apartment at that point we had already decided not to renew and were not going to move for less than 6 months then move out again, somehow I got fleas in my apartment and I was blamed for the fleas and charged for the treatment even though I didn’t have pets. The neighborhood is good but getting in and out of the apartments is a headache sometimes you will be waiting like 5 minutes to get in or out. Oh and one last thing they close the pool a lot during the summer so don’t get your hopes high thinking you will be able to enjoy your summer in the pool. The place has a lot of potential due to the location and the neighborhood, great schools around, but there needs to be some real changes around with ground keeping because if you have an actual maintenance emergency the maintenance people are actually very responsive and quick to fix if something breaks down. We enjoyed some of our time there but by the end it just went downhill."

"I’ve only lived here since June ‘23, but very satisfied with my decision to choose Springfield. Great community, great staff, incredible maintenance response, surprisingly quiet for such a large complex. I haven’t lived in an apartment for 35 years, but this place has helped make for an easy transition."

"Love living here. Staff are helpful and pleasant interactions mostly. Maintenance is amazing. The property is well maintained. Any maintenance issue is addressed within 24 hours every time! The pool is kept very clean too! The negatives are the phone system not working half the time…when trying to get a human to talk to or no answer or call back. Noise can be a problem especially late at night. Try contacting the courtesy officer but the phone not functioning properly will not allow it. Some residents do not follow the rules and staff allows it to go on right in front of them. Example: kids running and screaming inside with computer area. Kids being left alone on the computers to play games for hours. The lease states otherwise. It makes it uncomfortable to go in the area when it has so much chaos and noise. The pool is not monitored properly. People allow a lot of guests come when it’s only supposed to be two guests per UNIT. Makes the pool overcrowded. People doing dangerous things and allowing others to relax at the pool…playing football across the pool…doing cannonballs in the center of the pool…bring coolers filled with alcohol and making it a party zone. Not family friendly. Overall…we like it here…but just try not to use areas that have these issues."

"I would say the apartment has been great. I absolutely love my apartment. The maintenance and front desk are nice. However the flaw there is would be parking. Every night I have to walk from the front to the back of the complex. Visitors are parking in our parking areas, as well as owners of garages. This is an every night thing, and there’s no “tow” getting these cars like the apartment is claiming. Since living here, there hasn’t been a single tow back here. If it weren’t me having to walk across the entire complex, I wouldn’t have a problem. But since I am a female walking alone at night, and have already been followed home here ONCE, I am setting the importance of why we need our closer spots now. It’s unsafe to be allowing this to happen to residents in the back, since this isn’t just me."

"I lived at Springfield for a little over three years. My experience was exceptional. Angela and the rest of the staff were always available and eager to help with any issues we ever had. If I had not found my dream home, I would probably still be living there. The complex is pretty, well kept, and actually very quiet. Thank you for providing an excellent home for the past 3+ years."
