I asked her to no shampoo my hair, and, instead of arguing with me, like some stylists, said O.K. and didn't use shampoo. I've also had her do updos for myself and my daughters, as well as color for them. She always does a great job. Keep in mind, she can be very busy, as she's very popular and does excellent work."

"I went into this with an open mind, but well, what can I say... when someone starts hacking, literally hacking, at your hair with the haphazard precision of a four year old, I should have known to get out. My bangs have been thinned into a patchwork of irregular straw-like strands. My carefully flat-ironed bob was cut, randomly, into a chunky and uneven mess. In the end, I stayed, paid my bill plus tip, and left, knowing that the next barber I go to will thoroughly earn his keep. It was a disaster to say the least, and I do not think the stylist had attended any kind of formal training. I could have done better with the paper scissors I keep on my desk. I know, I’ve tried.
