"KK was so great - my friend and I happened upon his shop walking to union street and thought the prices in the window were reasonable so we walked in. He agreed to cut both of our hair one after another even though we had long thick hair that hadn’t been cut in over 6 months…and he did it so well! Very comfortable atmosphere, great shampoo and cut. You can tell he really takes care in his work and shared tips to improve my daily hair struggles. He’s been in the area cutting hair for 18 years and this is his second place - passed on his first studio to his son! A great experience all around. Takes cash/Venmo only."

This new salon is named after his wife and other location is run by his son now. Haircut and wash were very deliberate, and he only uses scissor cutting technique, no razor. For my very thick and long hair, he did a great job of cutting off weight and adding texture and layers to give it life! Very reasonable prices for a great cut, with the service and cleanliness you'd expect from a more expensive salon! Plan to make this my regular spot going forward"
