"After moving back to Marin from SF I had to find a new nail salon… the team at passion nails are some of the best! They are efficient, affordable and lovely. My manicures and pedicures last many weeks without chipping and peeling. The salon is clean and parking is easy!"

"I just had a simple manicure pedicure. No gel, just simple manicure and pedicure. It cost $60. I would have given them a higher rating, however, I was made to feel a shame of my tip. I gave them $12 tip. That’s 20%. I’d love to know if that’s too small of a tip. I’m open to hearing feedback. I think 20% is common for a tip. I gave the manicurist my money, she looked at me and ask me that’s for us?! As if she was not happy with the tip. I said “yes, 20%.” She asked again, $12? And I was made to believe that possibly this was not enough money. I went to ask the owner what the typical amount of tip should be, and he acted like he didn’t understand English. So he called over another woman, and I asked her what the common percentage is. She also acted like she didn’t understand what I was asking. I left shaking my head. As I was leaving they all started speaking very loudly. If I am to be shamed for giving a decent tip, then I will never go there again. I also do not recommend this for other people because of their reaction. Seems quite snooty to me. Last thing: make sure they clean the equipment! The dremmel (not sure how to spell it) was not cleaned as they used it from one person’s nasty toes to the others. Gross."

"This little place is great! They always seem happy to do the fun nail art. I asked them to do. It’s very easy to make an appointment and pretty much always get seen at the time that I request I enjoy getting pedicures and gel and dip manicures here. They also do waxing."
