"Edit: (one week later) All it took was a haircut and now I love both my hair and color. Highly recommend Allen for short hair. I love my haircut from this place and don't think my color was bad in quality persay, but I'm not sure what all the other reviews are talking about when they say the prices aren't too bad. Haircut price is great. Cindy was sweet and all, but she seemed to not know my style at all. I came in wanting my low lights enhanced but walked out with a lot more of my head highlighted. I would have preferred getting what I'd asked for rather than something else because it was the style she preferred. Shame on me for not knowing the difference and getting upselled. Again great job on my highlights but it wasn't "me" and I didn't expect to be charged that much for the color job. I can't help but think I was overcharged. Think I'll stick to haircuts here instead."

"Finally writing a review for this place. Been going here for forever for a haircut, and I never walked away feeling disappointed. I always get my haircut by the lady, I never got her name but I think there's only one lady who works here. She's great; she listens to what you want (bring a pic, or make sure you tell her what exactly you want) and will also give you advice on how to maintain your hair. Can't go wrong with this place for a haircut."
