"Ellie has colored, lightened and blended around my incoming gray hair for over 5 years! Even after moving out of San Diego, I plan my work trips around my hair schedule. I always get so many compliments on how natural my hair looks! She is very communicative with an email and text notification / confirmation system which is super helpful to keep my schedule on track. The salon’s colorful design and cleanliness also makes it very comfortable to be there, and ensures she cares about the comfort of her clients. She is a gem!"

"If you want fantastic highlights at a great price, ask for Ashley. She's an expert at doing subtle natural color and leaving hair soft, not over-processed. The shop is cute but not overblown -- a medium-size place that offers excellent service without overcharging for it (some salons leave me feeling as though I'm paying more for the hairdresser's rental fees and the salon's spa vibe than for the service itself). True talent at a New Twist, at a good value!"
