"I have been living in this apartment complex since April of 2023. It has been a nightmare since before I even moved in. I kick myself everyday that I chose to still move in to this complex after how inept and disorganized the office staff proved to be before I had even officially moved in. Before moving in or signing my lease, I specifically requested that I be placed in a certain 2 bedroom floor plan, and somehow they managed to set me up in the incorrect floor plan two times in a row. This should have been my first clue to how ridiculous the experience was going to be in this complex, but I completely ignored my gut. By then doing this, I had to postpone my move by almost a month, and had to keep all of my things in a trailer for that amount of time. One I was finally placed in the correct floor plan, I was shocked to find that they placed me in a unit that reeked of dog piss, was nasty, and had multiple things broken and chewed on. They did not let me see the unit before moving me into it, and when I brought it to their attention that the unit was nasty and needed to be completely cleaned, they proceeded to act as it if was inconveniencing them to do their jobs. They first tried to clean the bedroom carpets and have cleaners mop the floor. This did not work. They then finally said they would replace the carpets and have cleaners come deep clean. This also did not work. It was clear that the dog urine has seeped underneath the vinyl flooring and the floors all needed to be replaced. I begged them over the span of several weeks to do this. I was often ignored or gaslit about the situation by the office staff. They even tried to insinuate that my dog, who had only lived there for a less than 2 months and was 6 and fully trained, somehow destroyed the unit and made it smell like urine. The only person who showed me any sympathy at the time was Rodney, the maintenance man. The office staff only replied to me after I called their corporate office and left a message. Michelle then proceeded to call me and ask me “why did you call corporate?”, and then finally offered to have all the floors changed, but not before saying I needed to “sign something saying that I would pay to replace the floors if I messed them up since they’re replacing them for me”, as if *I* was the one who messed them up in the first place. She did back track when I requested proof that they made other new tenants do this as well when things needed to be fixed from previous tenants. All of this happened between the first day that I saw the unit in person and about the 2nd month of me living such a nasty unit. I then decided to move to a larger unit to accommodate my brother in October of 2023, and it was much nicer and clean. This is where our second problem began. We were placed in a second floor unit, only to find out that we live underneath the trashiest and most unbelievably unbearable people that I have ever had the displeasure of being neighbors with. These people have 3 children (toddlers) who are awake, often times until 1 AM, screaming, running, and jumping at all hours of the day and night. Their mother can be heard through the floor screaming at her kids and their roommate can be heard fighting with her boyfriend. Not only do we have to listen to these things all day and night, we also have to listen to them blast their TV and music all night long, have guests over partying and drinking loudly past quiet hours, and they also very clearly smoke weed inside their apartment and it drifts into ours. The mother also stood outside their apartment the other day banging on the door for over a hour while their kids stood out there with her screaming and the cops seemed to have been called. This all has been reported to the office staff with nothing done. I have also made numerous calls to the “courtesy” officer with no reply back and nothing done. It is a nightmare and we pay way too much for this mess. Do not live here."
"Not thrilled with my time at Ashland Farms. When I first came here I had high hopes being that this complex was new and boasted everything from a gym to a "Stocked Lake." The staff was nice so i decided to come to Ashland Farms. However the cracks begin to show right after I moved in... - The apartment had not been adequately cleaned before i arrived and i had to schedule two appointments to get the paint touched up and carpets cleaned (they should have been replaced.) - The "Stocked Lake" in reality is a dirty pond behind the complex that is basically hidden and i had to be show where it was on an unmarked trail. - The staff in the main office has turned over several times over the past 16 months. - I constantly find litter scattered around the complex in the grass , bushes, etc. - I have not gone one day without seeing pet droppings in the grass no matter where I walk. - Every 2-3 months months or so there seems to be some issue with the trash services and piles of trash bags will surround the trash compactor area for a day or two (which I happen to have a lovely view of). - The tiny gym has a mirrored wall with massive cracks, pieces of it were literally falling away from the wall - rather than replacing it - it seems that it was just pushed back into place and left alone. - There is also a stationary bike that looks like it would be nice to use with its large screen - however it has never been set up with a sign in for use so it is basically still new because it really cant be used. - The electronic package area that (i thought) was supposed to be a secure area that packages would be dropped has a touchscreen that has never worked - the few times I needed to access it, the front office had to walk out and unlock it with a key , which is strange. - Not to be outdone, an event occurred in my building that resulted in several tenant's having to relocate to other units and major structural rebuilding on several of the units - this happened while I was out of town and I was not even contacted with a courtesy call to make sure there there were not any issues with my unit or to inform me that there would be major construction for months right outside my door (which is still not complete). All in all, this place visually has potential but the collection of corners that have been cut, i'm assuming to keep costs down, have all added up over the year + that I have been here. I had high hopes but my experience has been less than stellar."
"This has been the worst experience I have ever had living anywhere. The staff goes back on things they tell you or claim to be a rule. Everyone you talk to has a different answer or excuse for everything. Rules for the complex only apply to the people that they decide. The “security” is completely useless and more of a petty rule enforcement than any type of security. Cars are constantly being broken into. And just about every day the breezeways will smell like weed. But the weed smell still doesn’t drown out the over whelming smell of SEWAGE when you come in the gate. It’s so bad you can’t even have your windows down or A/C on when you come in the complex. By far the worst experience I’ve had. And for the money it costs, it’s a shame. About 4 out of 7 days of the week the smell takes over the complex, so if your looking, maybe cruise through a few days in a row and you will experience it before you get too invested. Beware!!"
"I am so lucky to have found this complex !! When you walk into the clubhouse/offices you immediately feel the love . The amazing ladies Michelle, Mikayla, and Roz are so wonderful and helpful. Rodney is there if you need anything done around the grounds he is so nice and I know if anything is not right he will take care of it .They really made me feel like I was home. Everything they promised and discussed was 100% delivered!! It’s awesome to live here . The pool and gym are brand new and top notch. The community and buildings are perfect. The shopping is one minute down the road Walmart and fast food / restaurants.. The community is gated quiet and professionally maintained. Garbage valet’s pick up at your door . It’s so well lit and safe on every inch of the property. People living here are friendly and considerate. I have a 3rd floor overlooking the pool and I feel like I’m on vacation at a brand new hotel every day I wake up!! Space age washer/dryer and gorgeous light fixtures and ceiling fans beautiful flooring and countertops , huge kitchen and bedroom closet are a bonus . The patio is a special favorite of mine. There are many choices of apartments and complexes in Nashville I’m so glad I made the 15 minute drive from west Nashville and moved into Ashland farms in Ashland City !! It’s been two weeks and I feel so good when I drive up the entrance and come Home!!"
"McKayla , the assistant manager, she's so friendly and has helped with alot of different things I had issues with. The staff is amazing. The grill and pool area is always nice and clean. We have great neighbors, and the kids love the playground. Win Win for everybody."
