When I moved to LA in December, I was on the hunt for a nail place that I could make my go-to spot, and once I discovered 18K Nail Boutique, I haven't looked back since! Booking through their online website is straightforward and super easy. Consistency is one of the main reasons I love 18K. Each of the nail technicians are very skilled and detailed in the work they do, and no matter who you have, the result will be great! I seriously haven't had one bad experience here. On top of that, the salon itself is bright, clean, and has a great rotating music playlist. The owners as well as the technicians are friendly and accommodating, and services always begin on time. "1st coming here and I wouldn't return. 1. Basic pedi coming with just a hot water bath. No salts! This was no basic and didn't include much. They try to upsell you with unreasonable packages. Mani was very basic and the nail polish is coming off after 2 days. $55 for what I got was overpriced. Secondly, I do not think they sterilized there instruments because packages turn brown. They did not looked like they were baked!! Be careful."

"Usually I love this place... the female staff is excellent! However, one of the young gentleman is horrible and generally never had an amazing experience with him as this is the second time. I usually get one of the female staff and they are amazing. Right now, So so horrible. I'm writing this after one of the most painful and upsetting manicures. He over sanded/ plucked everything to the point ever single finger is bleeding and dyed the tips of my fingers black. He totally messed up the length, I asked for a small small trim as it took me ages to grow it longer and he took it back way too far on the first 'is this okay cut' I had to get the rest to match."
