"It's was very awesome place to visit. I was the first one person to visit Memphis Welcome Center."
"It was nice and interesting experience! Loved this welcome center! It was beautiful. Like going into a museum. You will love it. People were really friendly"
"Great welcome center with huge bronze sculptures of B.B. King and Elvis. Lots of maps and information. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Nice area and walking path along the river."
"4/17/2023: Our Memphis City Bus Tour started at the Welcome Center. We stopped for about 20 minutes to take photos and get city brochures. Immediately as you enter, a guide is available to take pictures of you with the enormous Elvis statue. Phyllis was wonderful! She took photos of each group in front of and behind the statue. I was with my best girlfriend, so we were told to reach for Elvis’ butt. The groups with men and women had a pose with the woman reaching and the man standing beside her. It was fun and got us all laughing. The Welcome Center has old black and white photos of famous icons and another statue of BB King. It was a cool experience. We all gathered back on the bus to start our city tour."
"Great welcome center. Easy free parking. Clean restrooms, convenient vending. Security on site most of the time. Picnic tables on both sides of the veranda/boardwalk with good views of the bridge and the pyramid. They need to trim the river side shrubs though. Great pit and picture stop. They are overgrown. Also, the staff were handling personal business on a cell phone with someone wildly cursing. Other than that it is a great and clean rest stop. Brochures for most things in TN."
