"I needed to get into a new primary care as soon as possible. Called on a tuesday and scheduled my appointment at 4pm on a friday . They absolutely knew it was urgent i get in. I show up and they told me that it was cancelled and they tried to call me. I did not receive a call. Then told me they couldn’t get me in for two weeks. Did not seem to really care about my time or services needed. Do not recommend !"

"Do not use James Yancey for your childrens needs!!! Absolutely horrible and doesn’t care about your baby in the slightest his only care is for the paycheck he’s pocketing. I highly recommend Kion pediatrics in Jonesboro, Walnut Ridge, or Paragould the doctors and nurses there genuinely care for the children they’re treating and they actually listen to the concerns the parents have for their little ones."

"WARNING DO NOT GO TO FIRST CHOICE HEALTH CARE!!! My blood pressure was 141 over 92 give or take one. Dr Casano gave me blood pressure meds and my blood pressure went up, it kept going up I called and they sent a message to the nurse marked urgent and she called and said Dr Casano said take another pill. This was the second day after the second pill and it kept going up. It was 159, over 105 and I had chest pains so I went to the hospital. I changed my diet and I use my exercise bike every day. Now my blood pressure is normal with no pill, but a Dr is supposed to help you do this with monitoring and advice, instead he said we didn't agree on a treatment with a letter he never talked to me about options or anything. I would not go here if I were you. It takes two weeks to get in a lot. And they could have done a better job communicating. I do not recommend. My BP Its lower than the picture sometimes, I'm still working on it, having to find a new Dr. Who cares. I'm being referred to a Dr in Jonesboro by my surgeon."

"Dr. Calixto Cazano seems like a really good doctor. He was attentive, and I felt heard. It is unfortunate that I will not be seeing him anymore. Not only there an issue with disorganization, his nurse is also an incredibly rude woman who will immediately blame other people and even blatantly lie to patients. Two of my prescriptions were never called in, and she basically accused me of making them up. When they found the prescriptions later, no one from the office ever contacted me; I was lucky enough to hear from my pharmacy, as I was only ever told by Dr. Cazano's nurse that the prescriptions did not exist. They called in the wrong referral to me, and to cover for it, she first blamed Dr. Cazano. Then she lied to me and told me that the office they referred me to requires all patients to be reevaluated and re-diagnosed before receiving treatment. If that sounds ridiculous, there's a reason. I called the office where the referral was made, and it was a very helpful woman there who told me that wasn't true. In both cases, the screw up happened at 1st Choice, and someone else was blamed-- whether it was true or not. Again, it is unfortunate. I did really like Dr. Cazano. Update: Luckily, the clinic manager called me to inform me that it was all a misunderstanding and that I just don’t know the difference between an intake appointment with a psychiatrist and an evaluation by a psychologist."

"Dr. Yancy & his nurse are both incredible! Dr. Yancy has been seeing my youngest child since birth, 4 months ago & has treated her for covid & other problems. He has always handled everything with great quality care."
