"This is the last show for the old carousel theater. It was a great one. I'll miss you old girl. Hopefully they will build something better."
"If I could give this 0 stars for my negative experience I would. It’s a good thing this is being torn down because perhaps it will give them the opportunity to implement new policies with the new building/layout. I left just prior to the show opening to go to the bathroom (in the next building over mind you). They did not notify me that I would not be able to go back to my seat due to proximity to show start. I went to the bathroom and returned thinking that, like every other theater I have ever been to, I could go back to my seat I arrived early for and stood in line for as all tickets were general admission. No. I was barred from returning to my party. I understand that it’s a tiny theater and the actors use all the space. However, the complete inconsiderate attitude of the children working there to not even give a heads up to those leaving to the bathroom “too late” is unacceptable. I just left. I came there to have an experience with 5 other people and was barred from it after just going to the bathroom. I had purchased these tickets and looked forward to it for over a month. Even if there was an announcement that they would block you from your seats - a last bathroom call, if you will, would have been considerate of the patrons."
"'Just helped Bird on a Wire Studios load in the stage & set they built for a Carpet Bag Theatre production so, I've never attended a play at Carousel but the theatre-in-the-round looks like it would be cool."
"As always, a poignant and very well acted play. We enjoy the proximity to the stage and actors."
"Clarence Brown Carousel Theatre is an intimate theatre where there are no bad seats. Oftentimes there are actors in the audience or they may come down the aisles so you feel a part of the play."
