"I have been wanting to come to this location because I saw that it has amazing reviews and it’s really close to the dentist where I go to the first time I called his office the lady who answered the phone was very rude. I asked for an appointment after 1 PM because that’s when my son gets off school she refused and said their office doesn’t take children under 3 afternoon appointments I believe her name is Ruth or something like that It starts with an R she didn’t want to say her name again after I told her I was going to write a review she didn’t want to give me her name anymore. I called again a month later when my son was in fall break to book a morning appointment, and the lady was going to book an appointment and just because I said he has medical as a secondary insurance she did not want to book us. I told her she doesn’t have to use it we could just use primary insurance, which is Delta dental. This lady refused and there was no going back she just didn’t want to take us in . She was very rude to me I don’t think she should be working in customer service because she doesn’t know how to treat patients nicely. if she doesn’t like her job she needs to quit because it seems she can’t be working there with kids and having that bad attitude towards clients. She even hang up the phone on me which was very unprofessional of her. I don’t know what type of facility this is, but I’m thankful she showed her true colors before I take my child in to this office. I also I mention I was going to go in the office and talk to the doctor and she basically said good luck with that because the doctor very busy and won’t talk to you even if you come. Very unprofessional!"
"The Billing Department is who this review is for. I have a son with Special Needs and cancelled our appointment by leaving a voice message on their machine. They proceeded to reschedule his appointment without talking to me or confirming with me. I am now being sent to collections for $138 cancellation fee that I NEVER agreed to the appointment in the first place. I have been coming here since I was a child and decided to take my children here. My family has known Dr.Phil for years, he knows both my grandfather's. The lack of respect and common sense in their Billing department is my final straw, and now I have to battle collections because of this. So Thank you to the whole Wolkstein team, I really appreciate all of this."
"I recently took my son and daughter to this dental office for routine cleanings and check-ups, and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the experience. They charge us for taking unnecessary extra X-rays, and they seemed more focused on making a profit than providing quality care for their patients. During the visit, the dental hygienist took X-rays that were not necessary for that visit because they already had x-rays taken within a 12 month period. I was shocked to receive a bill for a routine cleaning that was covered 100% by my insurance. The bill didn't even have any details on what I was billed for, when I call the office to clarify they were dismissive and unapologetic, and simply told me that it was standard procedure. I felt like my children were taken advantage of and disrespected by this dental office, and as a parent, I am extremely disappointed with the level of care provided. Trust and transparency are essential in any healthcare provider, and unfortunately, this office fell short on both counts. I would strongly advise anyone considering this practice to look elsewhere for their dental needs. As a parent, I want the best care for my children, and I am very disappointed with our experience at this dental office."
