"My son was born 7 weeks early via emergency c-section due to health complications. His care was fantastic initially but very quickly became how soon can we get him discharged. The medical teams seem to be on totally different pages and the information does not seem to be communicated between staff. We have felt nothing but pressure to discharge our son asap. Even though no one seems to be capable of reaching the surgical team to establish a surgery date to have a g-tube implanted. I want my son home more than I’ve ever wanted anything, but I do not want him to come home in a way that could jeopardize his health even further. I am making the decision right now that I am not willing to discharge my son until the entire medical team gets on the same page and dates for his procedure are in place. This has clearly been hard enough without the nonsense, but here we are dealing with your nonsense. Get it together already!!!!"
