"Good hospital, haven't had issues here. (Had a verrrry very minor issue which has now been dealt with.) Dad has chronic health issues and comes here a lot and they're always pretty good. Minor space issues that make wheelchairs tricky—the check in room-office things in the entrance area aren't super wheelchair friendly. (The doors are a little hard to open and the chairs inside the small space must be moved aside to get in.) If you're wheelchair bound without being very ambulatory, bring someone with you. But tbh that's the big wheelchair spot issue, the only one I can really recall offhand. Just that one spot. Drop off and pickup are always really accessible though at every entrance we have been in. Elevators are easy to get in and out of and overall all other areas are spacious. Bathrooms are typically very clean Staff is wonderful. The interior is actually usually a pretty okay temp, you're not gonna freeze or burn up. Which is nice. Possibly an odd compliment, they've got a lot of vending machines for being here at odd hours and hungry/thirsty. Food Lion next door is also a 24/hr grocery store and has saved our butts a few times being hungry/thirsty/needing coffee while here late."
"Today had been challenging from the start. We had to move to the hospital location for a ECHO because of staffing last minute complications and my insurance company denied my treatment for HER 2 positive breast cancer. It had been a while since the diagnosis and after expecting to finally get started, we were told it wasn’t going to happen. My God send today was my ECHO friend, Rhonda! So much going on in my chest post double mastectomy including a new drain for a wound that persisted, I had beyond sufficiently worked myself up for anticipated pain due to the scan. Rhonda was so kind and professional. She told me to let her know if something was painful but it shouldn’t be AND it wasn’t. Bless her beautiful heart! For taking care of mine! Guess who I’m asking for every time I need an ECHO during therapy from now on! Thank you Rhonda for your spirit for helping others! Made my day"
"I was recently admitted through the ER due to severe back pain. Everyone I encountered was absolutely amazing. From the nurses to lab and dietary help I met friendly faces with smiles while I was at my worst. My family was treated well also. I had a drain placed in my spine through the radiology department and the doctor and nurse Nancy was amazing and informed me if everything they’d be doing before and during the procedure. I was admitted to 6th floor where every nurse and tech was amazing to me. Sumner regional is the BEST hospital I have been to. I’ve worked as a nurse in many but this facility is this the best. Cody and Loin I think was the other techs names and I forgot the older lady on. Lights but everyone deserves a raise! All the nurses from Ally, Kayla and all the others which I’ve forgot the names of at present were perfect as well. The doctors were great and made sure I didn’t suffer at all. I would suggest the meals be improved and that’s my only suggestion. Everything else was perfect. If you or your family needs medical treatment please trust them for perfect treatment. Every single person I encountered was very polite eager to help and considerate of your pain and protective of your information and provided perfect care for me and my family."
"The inpatient rehab was why I was here. And they were all fantastic from the nurses to the therapist. And the food was excellent. My hair was one big rats nest from the long ICU stay at Centennial and one tech brought her own coconut conditioner in and worked on my hair for hours and hours. My hair was very long down to my butt... The next day I had 3 nurses get into the shower with me and help detangle the rest of my hair my hair. It was going to have to be shaved if it weren't for them actually caring and not wanting me to lose all my hair. They were amazing. And the Dutch lady in the therapy was the strongest woman ever and she was like in her 70s. She picked me up off the commode and lifted me into the wheelchair. LoL The other lady therapist was a big kiss fan and super kind as well. And the man therapist was so kind and caring as well. And Dr.Cruz they had come help me and check things out was amazing as well."
