"I was actually asked to review this company so here we go! Two years ago a lady swiped my husband's car door while he was waiting for the garage door to close. Our subdivision has narrow roads and we have no driveway. The case was a close call as to who was at fault and after review an adjuster said that my husband was. I then told my Eerie agent (Kim) to take off the collision and that way we don’t have to get stuck having our insurance go up by paying someone else’s car repairs. We were upset at how Eerie could have come to this decision because my husband was not even moving. One year later he was involved in another accident. He didn't give the yield of right away while making a left turn. The police asked him why he didn’t stop and my husband explained that the driver was just going too fast and that he went through a red light. No tickets were given to either party because the police were not there and no witnesses were around. Days later, we get a call from Eerie. The end result was Eerie found my husband at fault. So we had to pay for the other driver’s repair and to this day our car [one year later] is still in need of repair. I thought that by taking the collection off that we would not be having this issue; we were misled. Kim should have told us that by taking the collision off we are still going to have to pay for the other driver's car. Then, obviously we would have left collision on our policy. The latest update as of January, 2024 is that I seem to have a hard time getting my credit for canceling my insurance one month and four days earlier before my new yearly bill comes in. I switched insurance companies but I'm having a hard time getting my credit back so far. Avoid this company! UPDATE: I am supposed to get a check for a month and 4 days from this company. Here is my email today due to another incident that happened: "I have never seen such incompetence in all my life. Even State Farm doesn't understand why you all need proof of insurance. I explained it appears that you will keep charging us unless we prove our vehicle is sold or provide proof of insurance of another company. State Farm never heard of this. A cancellation is a cancellation. It shouldn't matter if we have insurance with another company or not! You are no longer responsible or in my life once a policy is canceled. The cancellation was on January the 5th, and I have State Farm January the 5th. So you should owe me money because I was with you until the 8th of February! So if I had coverage with you until the 8th of February, and I canceled a month and 4 days earlier, and went with State Farm, how do I still owe you money? YOU OWE US A MONTH AND 4 DAYS!" Eerie Insurance is claiming we owe them $108. I provided proof of payment for my annual insurance premium and cancered one month earlier! This is Insanity."
