"Went to this restaurant to celebrate my BIL birthday. Wine & Whiskey menu were impressive and enjoyed. Our party of 4 enjoyed different entrees that were delicious. I had their special of a Tomahawk chop with a Lobster tail, cheese grits and vegetable medley. Loved the lobster, grits and veggies. The chop was beautifully cooked but unfortunately a little too salty for me. The owner was so gracious. He offered to bring a replacement but when he couldn't he comped my meal, which was unexpected. Great service and a wonderful dining experience. We will be back. Kudos for the complimentary Valet service."

"Visiting in town and my parents wanted to go here so bad. We came for dads birthday. I was a little sketched with the interior and the whole electricity problem. The staff were great. Wish the server knew which cut of meat the special was. Wish that was on the menu actually. When I asked the server what kind of filet it was they replied 6oz... smh. I still ordered it anyway. It was so phenomenal. The macaroni and cheese was the best thing I had. Sweet potato casserole was chefs kiss. Everything was presented beautifully. The servers made sure everyone had a full glass of beverage. The building and whole interior situation is weird. But the food is phenomenal. Definitely the best food in this city hands down. I would always drive to Nashville when I'm in town for a good meal. But now I've found a go to place when I come ."

"Our dining experience was phenomenal. It is such a beautiful place. It feels homey and elegant at the same time. Our vallet pleasantly greeted us, and we didn't feel rushed. We were 15 minutes early for our reservation and were shown right to our table. Our server was extremely attentive to all our needs, even walking us to the washroom and offering to take a group picture. The steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The scallops were juicy and tender. Each mains was paired perfectly with its side. The desserts were fantastic, and we were offered complimentary coffee. Two spoons/forks in case we wanted to share. We didn't feel hurried to leave like other places do to turn over the table."

"This is the best food and service in town —hands down. We made reservations for a party of 9. The staff was at the door and and prepared to seat us as we walked in. Our waitress, Bailey, was superb! She was delightful and made the night extra special for our family. There wasn't a meal on our table that wasn't enjoyed. The grouper was fresh and perfectly cooked. The steaks were perfection, and the appetizers wonderful. The bourbon menu was thoroughly enjoyed by the bourbon drinkers in the group. I really can't say enough about this little gem. We rarely go out to eat because the options are limited in the area. It's truly wonderful to have a high quality restaurant we can enjoy again and again. We will be back and we'll be bringing more family and friends!!! Thank you Oaklawn!"
