Detroit Pizza Depot is a new pizza institution located in Los Angeles, California. We specialize in Detroit-Style Pizza, known for its caramelized crispy crust and unique blend of toppings. Our menu includes build-your-own pizzas with over 20 different ingredients to choose from, as well as specialty pizzas inspired by Detroit's rich heritage. Each month, we offer a limited edition Pizza of the Month with creative combinations. In addition to pizzas, we offer sides, salads, baked chicken wings, breads, desserts, beverages, and condiments. Our kitchen is located within Grand Food Depot and we offer delivery and pickup options through Uber Eats. "Not sure why everyone is raving about this pizza. Maybe you have to be from Detroit? They have been loving the Lions for a long time. I found the pizza and flavor to be severely underwhelming, It was also extremely cold and chewy and it cost $21 for a 4 slice 7.5"x 6.75" personal size pizza. $21??? It seems more LA than Detroit to be so full of oneself, Maybe it's fusion? I also ordered chicken wings and again, I guess you have to be from Detroit? I expect Buffalo wings when I order them with pizza but here they are plain, flavorless drab things. But lots of sauce options to make your bland wings pretend to come alive! These fine specimens were $13. Finally, Grubhub did the delivery, input contactless delivery instructions for me, without my consent or knowledge so I found my food on the ground outside my door, further getting cold. Even during the pandemic I don't understand or want my food placed on the ground. Upon complaining they refunded my additional tip, but offered no further assistance or discount. Probably wasn't even the driver's fault since Grubhub screwed up, but the driver's money is all they would offer. Typical of the gig world we live in where service is dead. In short, the food was blah and very very over priced. Over $50, with taxes and fees, for a lame personal pizza and lamer wings?? Grubhub was terrible and I won't be repeating use of either this restaurant or that app. As a former pizza delivery driver, manager and owner, I don't have patience for bad pizza and bad service. But hey, if you're a Lions fan you'll probably be ok here, being used to all that disappointment and all."
"Amazing Detroit style pizza!! This pizza is everything I dreamed of and more. The crust is perfect and could go with any toppings. They even have vegan options. Service is quick and efficient. There is no seating as this is out of a ghost style type kitchen. Highly recommend making your way to this location."
"Very good Detroit pizza. One of the best in town. It is a place, where both regular and vegan pizza are really delicious. And it's soooo hard with plant based cheese! Hats off!"
"Really exceeded expectations - the sauce, crust and cheese were all perfect! Couldn't ask for fresher ingredients. When ordering take-out the wings come with sauce on the side - THANK YOU! Would recommend and order again!"
