"I had been going to Yurik for over 8yrs. I liked Yurik, he wasn’t the greatest mechanic I’d ever seen. But. Not to bad, especially for small things. The first problem I had which raised an eye brow, I needed a new blinker switch and he charged me double what even the dealership would have charged. I confronted him about it and he said they had made a mistake. Ok. Things happen. The next time I went back to him, I had blown my radiator. I’m not a professional mechanic, but members have of many family are. So, I took my car in and Yurik told me it was the head gasket. I told him that was impossible and that it was with out a doubt, the radiator. He told me he “was 98%” sure it was the head gasket. And wanted to charge me $2200 to crack open then engine and replace it. I declined and took my car to another mechanic and I was right. it was the radiator. So. Either they are completely incompetent or were trying to pull a fast one. Most of the cost in replacing a head gasket is the labor. Never going back and I tell everyone in the neighborhood, They aren’t to be trusted. It’s unfortunate."

"They input my VIN wrong for my smog check, so the DMV never received my passed smog. After I called the DMV and found out about it 3 weeks later, I went back for them to fix it, and they wouldn’t pass me since my engine light came on the week before. Super upsetting since it was entirely their error that I now have to correct. **edit** After the owners response below, they do not pay attention to their customers. I had to come back 3 separate times for this problem with no solution. Owner, your team did indeed enter the VIN wrong, I have the receipt to prove it. My passed smog check was manually entered that day. I’m not blaming car issues on you, I’m frustrated that your error has caused me to go in circles looking for a solution with no help from you, and eventually had to find another shop. So, I will leave a review if I receive poor customer service."
